I think I'd rather have a wicked Class 3 EB for that kinda dough! But it would be nice to roll around town in I'm sure.

Just an ECM upgrade gives it another 175HP and 200lbs TQ.

F'n wicked! 11 second quarter mile times bone stock. 10s with the ECM...

Thats crazy. There is a simple ECM and cam only upgrade for the Dodge hemi, that will push it over 500 hp. 175 hp with just a chip, that is insane!!! Those Daimler guys have it going on.

Is anyone watching the race in Mehiko (Mexico for those that are thinking I do not know how to spell) today? RG is not in it, so I am working on the boat. I wish he was down there to go head to head with JPM, SP, RF, BS, and PJ. That is quite an accomplished group of road racers down there. The more I think about , the more I can not wait until the COT is here full time. It should really help out RGM overall. The road races should be the shiot this year in the COT with that Yates/Roush HP. I wonder when RG will start testing at the road courses in the new car. Probably at Virginia or Road Atlanta

The new spliter may hamper the RG curb launches a bit now..

My boss just got one yesterday just like the one in the Ebay ad... He let me take it out and it is by far the fastest thing I've ever driven. I was cruz'n down the freeway at 75 MPH, turned the traction control off, I pegged it, and it blew the tires off... I hit 150 MPH like nothing flat. This car is evil fast...

The speedo goes to 220MPH, I bet it would get real close to that.

It actually has an electronic limiter(governor) that stops it at 155.

The '07 version re-vamps the governor and can hit 186!

The ECM upgrade eliminates that too (6500 bucks)... Man this car killer.

Fly...Two words. Carrera GT. If you haven't been in one yet, you just laugh the whole time at how rediculously fast it is. Porsche's engineers recommend the traction control stays on, other wise, the first three gears are useless.

Yesterday the boss just got the ECM done. Now it's 660HP and 785TQ.

I know what you mean this car without the traction contol is a total Joke. At 2000 RPM the Turbos kick in and just blow the tires off clear through 4th gear. It's a total F'n Joke. With the traction control on it plants you.

My buddy just sold his AC Cobra Replicar... Not just being the nicest Kit car I have ever seen, that thing was the harriest ever. He had an all aluminum 514 Roush built Cobra Jet with twin 660s on it and a Tremec 5 speed... You had to be pointing perfectly strait before you could go past half throttle or you were do'n donuts. This car is like that but its a quality Benz with Benz brakes and handling.

Where can I find more info on this Hemi chip/cam?

The SL65 is a nice car, and with a TT V12 you cant argue much with that. But really, in my opinion, the only cars that Mercedes builds that really peaks my interest, are the sedans. E63, E55, S55, S65, those are the monsters. It just doesn't get any better then seating for 5, and 700hp/850ft lbs......

Yeah Cali, I agree.. the sedans are THEE cars to have. CLK55s and E55s are really balanced well and seem to handle better than SLs. CLS is starting to grow on me too. I dont care for S55s too much, but the renntech 65 you have pictured just gave me wood, lol. I really really like the new CL body lines though, with lorinser kits and a lil renntech power. nice. waiting to get some 63s in to see what there like without the SC overheating and cutting out all the time. lol
