Monster Energy Drink will be on Ricky Carmichael's car this weekend (Late model). Ricky is driving for Ginn (Mark Martin, Joe Nemechek) who has two cars in the top 10 in Cup. How will this effect RG??

Well that might explain why we might not see Monster on the RG's Cup car. The artical said that Ricky's deal with Monster is a 2 year deal and that RC might do some truck races by the end of the year. So who knows what the plan is with how fast Ginn is going to move RC into Trucks, Busch or Cup. Monsters budget is only so big and if they feel RC is a better return then we might not see Monster on RGM's Nascar programs for very long. Only time will tell. Bummer!

That has always been a part of the mix. Monster is still on board to the extent that RG's contract states.

Fly, so is Monster going to be on the 7? Or is Monster going to be on the Off Road Fleet and the nascar helmets as they are now....

As far as I know, the contract was never extended past what it is.

RC Has a few years left on his contract with monster. All Rick is doing with Monster's backing is swapping it over to Some Nascar stuff.... You will not see Rick in Cup for some time. Maybe 2009, by then his contract will be up and then his abilities can be acessed for a resign. I could see Marlin out of the 14 @ Ginn the end of 2008 and Rick would step into that deal for his first full season in 2009.

Until then RGM is really Monster's only plausable access to Cup.

Sounds good. I think the concern was that instead of Monster going to Cup with RG, They would hang out with RC for his ABC program instead. Thanks for the 411

RG crew was wearing Monster uniforms on pitlane before the start at Bristol today. Is this the normal RG crew uniform or somehting new?

It looks to be the outfit of choice when they have no sponsorship for the week. Maybe it goes along wiht the helmet deal

He had his RG Offroad Motorsports as the primary sponsor on the car today. Seems like they have something different every week.
