Brian Vickers was treated for Carbon Monoxide Inhalation and 2nd degree burns on his feet after the race at Bristol. After some contact approximately 200 laps into the race, his exhaust pipe directly under him split open. This caused his floor to reach extreme temperatures and for exhaust to enter his car. Rather than take his car to the garage or pit for some help, he carried on to finish in 15th place for Red Bull Racing. The burns were on the soles of his feet. He plans to carry out all of his obligations this week including a one day test at Greenville-Pickens Raceway. I always took him as a talented racer, but not necessarily a hard charger. I guess you do not need to have a big mouth or a bad temper to charge hard and want it bad. I will start rooting for him on Sundays, even though he is with Red Bull
