I have been talking with the promoter of this event about creating a short course class for Pro-Lites to run in this event. This type of event would be really fun, side by side bracket type racing in a stadium! If anyone is interested, let me know, this would be a great way for CORR and Pro-Lites to gain exposure in the Phoenix area, a big market I think CORR needs to be in. They need to know fairly soon for advertising and promotion purposes. We can create our own purse that will dictate entry fee's. This event is also going to be televised on Motorsports Mania on the Fox Sports Network and we have an additional producer for SPEED Channel also interested.
They also have classes for buggies, trucks, side x sides, and sand cars. This is going to be in an enclosed (A/C) stadium that holds 30,000 spectators!
Here are some of the details:
Pro-Lites - Considerations.
1. Would need to know how many would be interested.
2. Potential sponsor for the division.
3. Purse they need for payout, would determine entry fee.
Also - attach is the track design for the divsions that will be up on line after this weeks meeting.
If we can iron out the details - All the advertising will start after the contracts are signed, so we would need to talk soon.
we are very excited that "Sanderson Ford" is the Title Sponsor of the Offroad Nationals. So it would be great to have them announced in our up coming ad compaigns with them.
We have Motorsports Mainia which is a Fox Sport Network cable show, and currently looking for others too.
