Brandon,
The car was a Baja shop 4 seater built back in 1999-2000 or so. .I just have been doing some updates on it. as for Camburg building a 4 seater :) you will see some pictures of Jason's car soon. This one started out as a new Funco... The rest is pretty cool!
Jack,
I added the A-pillar support tubes before I sent the car to Twisted Tim for the aluminum work. I also added a new tube across the back of the dash. This car is a prerunner / sand car not a race car. These cars just cruse...

Well time has come for a V8... lol
CBM Motorsports Ls-1 with Probe forged pistons and ARP hardwear mounted to a Mendeola 2D.
Other new updates will be all new FOX shocks. Rear 2.5" bypass and 2.0 coilovers. Front 2.5" internal bypass.

Because the car should do wheelies with the Ls1..lol

Why not Bilstein shocks?
I want to run them but they do not make the length I need. The front is very tight and Fox makes a 2.5" internal by-pass. I can't fit a bypass and coilover up front. Plus my aluminum hood is already made and changing the front upper shock mounts will mess up the whole hood.
We are a distributor for Bilstein, FOX, and Sway-A-Way shocks so I need to show some love :D

I think your car is the only vehicle that took longer from start to finish and had more hicups in the build than my truck does. Have Fun!

I took the car out this new years weekend to Ocotillo and had a blast! Only issue was the alternator did not work but a friend in camp had a spare.

Is there 5 people in that buggy? Thing looks sweet!
Not 5... it only seats 4. The rear seats are close together because of the design of the chassis but it does have tons of room on the floor between the rear seats and the side panels.
Here are some more pictures!

At the end of the year I am going to do the suspension to match the wheel color and the chassis semi flat black.

We moved our shop about 3 years ago to a 12,000 sf building. We are still off of Slater but on the other side of the tracks. Next to Rhys Millens shop and Jet Chips. Come by any time to check it out 7409 Slater.

Might take you up on that, always looking to meet new people and learn a bit too. Rhys Millen needs a big shop just to fit his balls I would guess. That back flip was crazy. LOL, thanks again for the offer.
