All my pictures from Friday and Saturday are now up except for the Pro Lites, they will be up in a couple hours.

I will be working on the Sunday pictures during the week after work and will upload them as I finish each class.

I might not finish them until after the BITD race next weekend though.

However, I do have an idea that would be nice to see someone do, which is,

PLease put some pictures of the drivers face either by their racecar or by their name. As people become more aware of the sport and want to become fans, being able to put a face to a name and truck would be nice.

Gracias! I havent really done what you said, but I often try to get pictures of the drivers either in their truck or celebrating after, but that doesnt always work out so well :-/

I know what most of the CORR men look like, but I don't know what many dezert racing men look like. So when I hear a name it would be nice to have a face to go along with it.

Besides, from this female point of view, every once and awhile its nice to enjoy the scenery beyond the metal and dirt:)

Haha like 2 seconds after he picked it up and posed a corr guy ran over and took it away. I was also invited to join the media mafia but I cant keep up with those guys. My 50s ignition wasnt working to well so it wasnt REVing to HIGH haha

If I can toss out one idea that we as a team would love to see more of:

I know that you guys are on the track during the race and that's where the action is. But as Steve captured in a few of his photos and Jason had a nice shot of Jerry on top of the truck after the win, it would be great to see a few more pro shots from behind the scenes. Winner's podium, pit and crew action, drivers just hanging out, crowd interaction etc. can be used by many of our teams for marketing, media and sponsorship packages along with the amazing action photography. Plus it looks really cool and gives those who don't have a chance to be there, a glimpse into the entire experience. A key component of CORR is that we do have open pit areas like the NHRA and people are able to see the frenzied action that goes on between rounds and the drivers are so accessable.

In building the series, we are creating personalities and heroes within the sport, and as magazines such as Dirt Sports concentrate on the lifestyle along with the machines, I think that a NASCAR Images type of look that captures the whole CORR racing experience both on and off the course could help develop the series as we show all aspects of the expereince a little more.

Most of us are working alone and can't miss the action on track . We do take other shots though. As a photographer the pits are full of interesting stories.
