We're building a full size Trophy Kart track right now in Buckman Springs (20 minutes east of El Cajon). Anybody is welcome to come out and run it when we're done. It will be a little longer than the one at the last race and have some more technical sections and jumps.

Hey John,
If there is anything I can do to help let me know. That sounds great, just went out to plaster city, so Buckman is even better.

what springs do you have for it right now? it looked to me like there was no nitrogen in them, or valving.

they were 100s and i changed them to 110. i like it to ride soft in the back i dont want the rear end poping up. little bit more nitro to your right. but the valving is good.

how heavy is your driver?
ours was around 100 and we had the stock 100 king springs and it didnt stand up under accel.

Louis, the jacking of the rear suspension is more a side effect of the geometry and shock valving, than spring rate.

geometry more then anything...

this i know... but some stand up more than others... this side effect enables you to run a softer spring rate at the same time.
some stand all the way up untill the shock tops out =/
trying to get a track worked out up here in the high dez. keep everyone informed on whats going on.
hey brian, any thoughts about making the chainring hubs out of some good material?

Blake is around 85 lbs. todd at fox gave us the shocks at the race, told me the preload, and that was it. so i havent had a chance to play with it, and really get it working right. but also it may have looked soft but there is an 1 1/2in. bump at the bottom of the shock. the shocks also and like 2in. shorter and we lost about 5in. of travel to. it was fine with me losing that travel to keep the rear from coming up.

10-4.
didnt realize you were running fox's. I know that ampudia was running fox's too, did todd not give you the same setup? or have they played with their's and allready changed it?
