Damn you're good. The rear extensions from the bedside mounts aren't broken yet... FYI, I think Trophy Kart would recomend that you remove the rear body mounts when driving the kart without body. I made the mistake of leaving them on, and had to repair one within ~ 15min. of driving time. Just too much vibration for the .058" tubing.
Good luck this weekend!

Acutally at the very end of the day we broke one as well. I thought I might have bumped into it, but coudnt remember when, so vibration was the culprit.

Cool video John. I tried to get ahold of you last week. The people that run the Barona flat track had us bring some karts up Saturday night and put on a half time show for the crowd. They built a track on the infield. I wanted to see if you wanted to come up and run. It got so much postive response they want to build a permanent Trophy Kart track and start a regular racing schedule ASAP. I'll keep everyone posted as it comes along.

No idea what the gearing is, just stock. The shocks are fabtech. havent started valving or messing with spring rates yet. First goal was to get him comfortable driving.

The stock chain reduction is 10/17 primary, and 10/49 secondary. The only way it would be different is to use aftermarket rear sprockets, as the primary and jackshaft sprocket tooth counts are spec'd. Aftermarket sprockets are available from 45-58 tooth.

Thanks for the reply. Do you like the Fabtech over the King or did you get the kart with them on it? Also I read somewhere that the engines are getting sealed up is this key for survival and if so where are you getting it done?
Thanks

It came wiht Fabtech, so I dont have a reference as to which are better. On something like this I am sure both are good, just going to come down to spending time valving and spring rates. The sealed engine is not for reliablity its to ensure that no one is opening up the engine and modifying them. If you call Trophy Kart they will give you the engine guys name. Only one person is allowed to do this at this time, that I am aware of.

Doug Fleming is doing the motors.
The difference between the king and the dirt logic is king is emulsion, the dirt logic has a dividing piston. Out of the box the noticable difference is how they fly off jumps.
I can tune the shocks any way imaginable but the 2 fabtech karts run off the shelf dirt logic valving that we spent time with nestor dialing in before the karts were released.

RUMOR MILL,
I heard through the rumor mill that Nester just got a huge backing from a big name to start building mass production of the trophy karts, any truth to that?

I got to drive one around today, they are really fun but I couldnt imagine an adult class being something that these things would be able to withstand, I think the extra weight of an adult and the aggresive driving would take their toll on these little carts. But a few beers and a big back yard would definatly make for some world class adult fun.:D

Swing by the fabtech semi or toter home at the corr races for info.

Where is the track at? Is it someone;s private land? Is there room to build a track for practive for Pro Lite's and Super Buggy's?

Not sure who owns it, just a little east bound after the gas station on the Jacumba exit before the shooting range. Not sure if it would be big enough for a full size truck, but you could always run down one of the dirt trails surrounding it to make a loop.
