Here u go. This was in Vegas 2 weeks ago. Wanna drink and drive?
Eyewitness News has obtained new information in the investigation of the deadly crash that killed five people, four of them children. The new details are contained in the accident and arrest report of Ronald Jayne Jr.
(If you would like to help the victims' family, scroll down for donation information).
The 19-year-old admitted to police at the scene of the accident that he had been drinking but he denied speeding or failing to stop at the stop sign. Jayne Jr. failed a breathalyzer test at the scene, and blood-alcohol tests were done later at the hospital.
Ronald Jayne Jr. was in court Wednesday, and so was the family of the victims. The family of the five people killed were hoping to hear the charges against the man police say killed their loved ones. Instead they left disappointed.
Attorneys for both sides asked for a 24-hour extension, because they had just received the toxicology results. Three rows of seats in the courtroom were packed with family members holding pictures of the loved ones they lost.
For the first time, they saw the man police say was drinking and driving when he crashed and killed an extended family. Casimiro Gonzalez made the trip from California for this hearing. He says while he's frustrated with today's delay, he understands why it was made. But he also says he can't help but feel some pain for Ronald Jayne Jr.
"I have a young teenager about his age," shared Gonzalez. "It's tough. He did a bad thing. There's a lot of hate, but he's still a young kid."
All the names of the five victims who were killed that night are now known.
Katherine Luna was just 7-months-old. Her family decided to donate her organs to help others. Itzelic Sevilla was 2-years-old. She was just learning how to say her colors in English. Fernando Dominguez, 9, was killed with his mother that night. His family says he loved his gameboy. Gustavo Dominguez Sevilla, 13, was in his middle school band. He was suppose to be performing at Disneyland this weekend. And 32-year-old Claudia Dominguez was the driver that night. She was the proud mother of two.
Family members have arrived from Texas, California, and Mexico. They said they plan to stay here throughout this entire process.
Ronald Jayne Jr. will be back in court Thursday. The charges he's facing are expected to be read at that time. He faces 20 counts including eight felony charges.
During this tough time, they want to thank people who have prayed for the family and showed up to the memorial site. They also would like to thank the community organization, Stop DUI, which is financing travel expenses and funeral costs.
The family is trying to fly the children home to bury them in Mexico. You can help by donating to the Dominguez-Sevilla fund at any Citibank.
A second fund is also set up at Bank of America, under the Miranda Memorial Fund.
The family hopes people learn from their suffering to not drink and drive. They say you never know what can happen, who you might encounter, or how it could all end up.

Don't be a dumbass.. My girlfriend got hit by a drunk driver and rolled 4 times in her 4runner a year and half ago.. Don't make the same mistake this guy did! Thank god she came out with just a few cuts and bruises.. She is still in a ongoing lawsuit with the guy.

Many of you "Old timers" here on RDC remember my buddy Dani Mester who was killed by a drunk driver almost 4 years ago at the age of 25. The driver is still serving time. One dead, one life runied and her child will know her mother killed someone.
Taking the time for the police to do a stop to check for drunk drivers is fine by me. If it saves one person from the pain of loosing a loved one, then it is worth it. No one wants that phone call I got telling me she was dead. It was and still is hard to believe she is gone.

Pomona Police runs DUI/Safety checkpoints every single in weekend in different parts of the city. Also becareful because every city has extra cops out looking for people not wearing seatbelts as part of a national click it or ticket campaign. The fines are hefty!

it's a simple point that can't be stressed enough, don't drink and drive and wear your seatbelt.
I for one know a seatbelt saved my life or at least limbs in one incident and many people here are probably in the same boat. Click it or ticket? Click it or die.

If you must drink, and we all do , why not let someone else do the duty? save 10k, I'm sure we could all use it on our race cars
have fun
