NASCAR is expanding their market into the LA area with California Speedway. They are doing more "promotion" events in Hollywood and surrounding areas to get more California fans to pack the stands at races. It's slowly working. They added the wolfgang puck food over at the speedway. They are trying to attract a new fan to NASCAR. They figure the best way to do it is to tie Hollywood with the speedway. I guess it would be funny to see some hoppin low rider crusin around Comptown or Watts with NASCAR colors!
