Where are you gonna prerun that beautiful truck. For Score or bitd races?

Mostly pre-run MDR in Superstition series...maybe race 1450 on New Years race. Some pre-running in baja with friends. We've already had some interest in it being purchased also, so not sure what's gonna happen when it's done. Swift Racing...which Swift is this. I'm not sure if you guys remember me from years ago, but I used to be the SMD Motorsports gopher at it's beginning. I picked up your race Expedition and Ranger Pre-runner on a few occasions at John's house. We are good friends of the Scaron-dogs. Thanks for the positive input!

No way!! Ryan is bypassing the riff-raff,.... this beauty for Plaster City :D
Seriously...great looking work Ryan. I was thnking how I was gonna keep the dirt from building up in my Lower-links.
My brother and i are also building up his 97 F-150. Similiar build...roll cage going in next month.

Few more updates of the truck. Getting it on the ground today. Still got lots to do though. With the Trophy Lite stuff we're working on, we've not been able to spend as much time as we want on this project.

Thanks, for some reason they look shorter in the pictures. so what does the wheelbase end up at?
highnlow
July 26th, 2007, 11:30
Wheelbase is the exact same as stock Supercrew F-150. I don't remember but we kept it the same. I can measure it if you need. Let me know. Hope that helps.

I did a quick google search and it said 139" or 150". 139" sounds more likely. if you have a second to measure to verify I would appreciate it.

DWymoreB,
THAT THING IS FREAK'N SIIIIICK. Didn't you attempt a backflip in that beast at Superstition Mountain to get those beauty dents...oh and here are a few more pics of the rear end. Scotty got the bump stop mounts in.

Yeah, something like that. Hit some blowsand and endoed down a dune. I don't recommend it.
I saw it the other day. Looking good. Zero scrape on the bumps on compression.
I'm getting close...the little stuff is eating me up of course.

isnt your guys shop on the right hand side going into town right before the train tracks?? i used to pass that truck when it sat out side, heading to the building dept submitting plans and crap.. same truck??

Same Truck! It's definately had a little make-over. One thing led to another and we finally decided to do a complete build on this thing instead of just piecing it together over a long period of time. Wait a minute...it has still been about 13 months...dang it.
We just recieved all the stereo equipment, Ipod Hook-ups, Rear camera & monitor and we will be picking up a GPS unit from John Murray at Mobile Radio Communications at the Sand Sport Supershow in Costa Mesa on Saturday. Will post more pics soon.

truck looks great are you guys going to just run a single shock in the rear?
highnlow
September 23rd, 2007, 21:33
Yes, we are running the Revolution 3.0 Internal Bypass Coil-over at each corner. We've been running them on many different projects and every customer has been more than pleased. I couldn't justify running the 4.0 on the rear currently because I would need a bunch more cash. The 3.0's are huge anyway!

Lookin' good.
I made it to the dirt first, but still lots of work before it's "done".
