Sparco EVO 2, Installation Angle

Installing Sparco seats in a Class One car, what do you guys like for an inclination on these seats, flat, 10 degrees tilted back, or...?

Its really a preference mock up sum blocks and try a few. Personally i try and get it as close to straight upright but as i said its a preference.

I Like a slight incline to the seat in my 1600. just enough to keep me from sliding out. If you put too much of an incline it puts pressure on the bottom of your legs. This will cause your legs to fall asleep.

Jason mounted the Evo 2 seats in his new prerunner dual sport car at 12 degrees.

I just put Evo 2's in my prerunner. The bracket have several mounting positions. The mounts in my prerunner are basically "flat", I added some "recline" with the Sparcos using the the holes in the Sparco brackets. For the record... I think the Sparco's are a much better choice for todays' off road vehicle. The seem to support my back better. I have not been out with the truck yet, but will soon.

I am also putting them in the new class 8, which is coming along nicely!

From what I hear, a little angle is also safer. The more the seats lean the less of a chance for your back to compress in a hard g-out or bottom out.

sounds like 50/50 on people using the alu. mounts or fabing up there own....

How are the alu. Sparco mounts ? I am too mounting them in a race car

The aluminum brackets are lighter but cost $120.00.

I'd use steel, they're 50.00 less and easier to work with.
