Just the front arms are bolt on. The kit works great. I pulled 17 inchs of travel bumped and strapped on my truck. the truck looks even better in person.

H&M has made some progress on it but nothing in picture form. The pulled off of it for a bit to get some other projects wrapped up, which is fine with me. I would expect November return to my casa.

I am starting to get excited about it as it is getting close. They have the trailing arms mounted up and were working on rear shock placement. Honestly I really want to have it ready to prerun Parker next year so I am not too concerned at this time about it...its been kinda nice having it out of my garage :) It will have a little bit of work at E&J Wire Works and then some odds and ends, maybe paint and body, I will have to see.

Thanks guys, I a super stoked on it. I have been getting the body ready for paint so I can put the front and rear glass in (windshield) so I can take it down and get it back on the street to drive.

Anyone in AZ have a hook up on paint. I will have most of the body work done just need it cleaned up a little to make sure paint goes on good and then have it painted. I had a hook up but it went south (price went WAY up)

Yeah my friend Mike paints lots of off highend and race stuff- street bikes, race trucks, cars, you name it. He's pretty good with fiberglass too. His shop is in Sierra Vista about 50 Min. south of Tucson I can set you up with him, He just matched some glass fenders up on my budys titan.

I have been working on getting the truck finished and ready to go back out in the desert. I hope to send it off for paint next week and then finish up the interior. I took the Fiberwerx dash and used it as a base to work off. The dash is built of fiberglass with bondo used to smooth it over. The center console is built out of fiberglass with a metal frame under it.

I am pretty happy with the dash and the center console and plan on wrapping them in vinyl. I have the steering wheel removed but its a Sparco with a quick disconnect.

Thanks for the positive feed back guys. I haven't figured out who is going to wrap it. Once the paint and body work is done I can put the rubber molding back on, the windows back in and start doing the interior as well as finding an interior guy and then...I AM DONE!

Charlie, thats cool, I bet that keeps you busy. I like being an agent and I think all in all Farmers is a good company and tries to help its insureds as much as it can. I am going on 10 years with my agency and am very glad I started when I did.

I started building this truck back in February of 2004 with the front end and a simple bed cage. Its crazy how it snowballed in 5 years. Its pretty much done so I thought I would post up some interior pics until I take some exterior photo's. The dash is pretty simple but I like it. It started life as a Fiberwerxs carbon dash and I cut the crap out of it and molded in the factory instrument cluster and other items. both the dash and the center console are made of fiberglass.

PCI Icom Radio, Sirius sat, I-Pod adapter running through a pre-amp, no head until. Art Carr that I can sift manual or full auto. All the stock items work that you would want to work. Quick release hub with Momo wheel. Even the adjustable floor pedals still work and the button is mounted in the center console

f1sleepy
January 18th, 2010, 14:42
It's not on Trailer Products' website. Call them and ask for their "Taylor Motorsports" clip if you want it, and yes it is 6" longer than stock. Which is necessary for 37" tires with a lot of bump travel on most kits unless you do a lot of fiberglass trimming which looks like crap IMHO.

Sorry, didn't notice the bump in this thread....changing a diaper I'm sure :)

Baja619 and f1sleepy are correct. It is the Trailer Products Taylor Motorsports front clip and heavily modified by Fiberwerxs.

It is 6" longer and I think looks good for this reason even though when I ordered it I wasn't aware of the additional length. Don't know if I would go through the hassle of it again and I have a lot of money wrapped up into it. I believe TP makes a newer one as well as Fiberwerxs. Fiberwerxs did a good job of adding the louvers and making it into a three piece instead of a biatch to remove 1 piece.
