toyota 8" v6 2wd rearend same as 4wd

I was wondering if the 8" 2wd rearend uses the same axle spline as the 4wd? I have a buddy with a 4wd third member with a locker and 4.88's I want to put in my 2wd rearend without changing axles

not sure why you would want to do that but yes, the axles are the same spline count.
