35" is the standard now adays. 1 trip aroudn barstow b with 33"s and you will see.]

typically, 80"+ on track width, but 84" is more along the norm

people use equallenth, and both extnd beams, depends on the budget, truck, and driver

average speed varies. 100+, 25mph, 65average.

i have a 28gallon cell, which is only, ok(no it sucks) for local races. my 4.0 v6 can get as bad as 4mpg. need 40+ cell to sit happy

good luck. just dont go out there expecting to win, itll take some time to get the truck dialed...

35" tires work alot better and the ride is much better. These will be harder on hubs and steering, so if your truck is minimal, 33"s will keep the carnage down and will still work great.

2.What track with you i beam boys have?
Average for beam truck is ~81" or so outside-to-outside

3. Is everyone using equal length or some extended beams?
Both work great, equal length makes it easier to upgrade to good steering.

4. Average speed on course? threw whoops? straights?
Depends, quality of truck and team vary black to white in 1450.

32 works great.

Weve had great luck with Goodyear MTR's. Baja TA's are great tires as well.

for your cell to be race legal you need to have a steel/aluminum can around the plastic bladder inside. so as long as your 32 gal has that your set on the cell. and what everyone else said is 100% correct.

For a Toyo Open Country M/T 35" X 13.50 15R will run you around $230 bottom line retail.
12.50 wide is not available in a 35" M/T Toyo Tire.

A Toyo Open Country A/T #5"x12.50 15R will run $188.34 although I dont have any personal experience with the All Terrains

The Toyos are a little pricey but are worth the price and in the long run you would save money as a BFG A/T will likely get a flat after any consideralble amount of offroading.

I run 35 x 12.50 x 15 BFG Mud Terrains. No flats in 4 races. My cell holds 22 gallons and I get 4-5 mpg which allows me to do 2 laps on Lucerne B and Barstow A & B. That's usually OK because I have to pee by then.
