After searching the internet for a few hours I came up with nothing. I'm looking for a fixed yoke for my 700r4 trans, which I'm told doesn't exist. So what i'm looking for now is a fixed yoke or 4 bolt flange for a powerglide, Th-350, any 27 spline 1.5" seal surface yoke. I need the fixed yoke so I won't kill my carrier bearing by moving the front shaft, and actually make the slip in the driveshaft work.
What my plans right now are to cut down the slip yoke 1" so it'll bottom out against the end out the transmissions output shaft. I then drill a 1/2" hole in the ceneter of the slip yoke, and thread the output shaft with 1/2-20 thread, then I bolt on the oke making it fixed. Does anyone see a problem with this?? Or I'd love to buy a fixed yoke made for this tranny already. So if anyone has one or see someone who sells a fixed yoke for 27 splinex 1.5" seal surface that would be great. Thanks, Tommy.

i think you might have a hard time trying to drill and tap your output shaft

I have full access to a machine shop so it shouldn't be a problem.

Is that a standard slip yoke but it uses U-Bolts to hold it in instead of the standard press in U-joint. If so I'd just have to drill the hole in the center and then bolt it on. Thanks.

Alright I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that helped me out. I located a yoke similar to the one posted above here local so I picked it up, drilled a 1/2" hole in the center on the lathe, and machined a spacers for the inside so it's all tight when ont he transmission. i then drilled and tapped the center of the output shaft with it under the truck just to see if I could, and it worked out perfect, I took my time and it's working great, and the carrier bearing has now lasted over 300 miles without a single problem. thanks again.

Brought this back from the dead.
I've got a slip yoke tranny and was wondering if I should eliminate the slip there and put it in the driveshaft. It's a 2008 tundra motor with the automatic tranny, the driveshaft length is about 55 inches(if I remember correct) its a custom install in a 2000 tundra and the motor is set way back. What do you guys think? Should I make my own slip yoke eliminator? Or just run it as is. It's a 4 link so not much plunge.
Thanks for any response.
