There's another Jimco Class 1 for sale in the classifieds for $110k including a decent spares package, so you may still be in luck. http://www.race-dezert.com/cgi-bin/trader/atl.cgi?ct=2&md=second&id=8926 I'd buy it, but I'm having trouble coming up with the other $108k

I feel a sternly worded post from Klaus coming, about how this isn't the classified section. lol

I guess I should have just said TSCO is selling a car, not due to the "declining economy", I am guessing that is where this thread is going? Sorry for turning it into the classifieds.

Keep the post going in the right direction like Ramsey and we'll be fine.

someone send me a PM when you see 90's era chenowth or similiar 2 seat 1600 cars back in the 10 to 15k range. thanks.

Archibald is running an ex-McMillin car. I don't know much about it other than it being a Porter.

I heard John Marking purchased the car. The class 1 Scott and Andy Overalled the 2005 San Felipe and won the Baja 500, 2nd overall to Robby Gordon.

Are you aware of the current house market? Perhaps, that is why the McMillin's and many other teams are beginning to cut back on the race budget, and sell some of their equipment. The overall economy is BAD right now. A lot of teams are selling their toys.

Actually, John Marking didn't end up buying the Class 1 Car, and Archibald bought our 2nd porter car, the converted Rod Muller original car. Me and my dad are selling cars because we race trucks, not cars.

Hey Andy, Who's the lucky new owner. That car is the newest Jimco that's been up for sale and was a deal, do you have any more?

Brian Brown and I are the lucky new owners of Jimco#4. We raced in class 1 a few years back but sold that car to help start our business. We are thrilled to be back in the game…

any car of TSCO's is worth the money to me. stewart raceworks overlooks nothing when prepping and completing those cars. very, very well maintained cars.
