Start by going over to http://www.ormhof.org/nominations.htm and taking a look at the application process. There is a detailed packet to be completed prior to consideration. Fill it out and send it in. The applications are all carefully considered and reviewed and the nominees are then chosen by the board of directors and voting committee for each year's induction.

I guess the question is,when he retires(????)will he have enough trophies to get in?
I like the guy too,but hes no ivan or larry.Curt's the kind who's so busy, could care less
right now! He's just happy to racing!Does he seem to be slowing down at all? What makes
a racer retire,a major wreak,wear on the body,the will to race,money,wife?
I'm just curious what you guys think?

Speaking of LeDuc, I found an ad for some of his stuff in the march 1985 Dusty Times, when he was still back east......

Big Daddy, Pabs father. Multiple Baja Mil winner. List of wins to long to list. Driving, not co-rider, partner with Johnny Johnson. 71 and still chasing the DA all over the place. He deserves consideration for sure.

How many wins does Big Daddy have under his belt and is he racing the upcoming Baja 1000?

I have no idea how many wins....I have just heard the fascinating stories.....Most of Big Daddy's stories revolve around his losses. He still hates the near misses.

No more racing for Big Daddy. He is the main man when it comes to chasing though. Look him up at the DA pit next weekend.

As toddz suggested, going to our web site and looking at the nomination packet will provide the information about the elegibility requirements. As for the question about Curt Le Duc... He is one of the many who might be good candidates for nomination.

The guidlines for induction are part of the nominination packet. There are a lot of names that would be good candidates for nomination. The only way anyone can be inducted is by being nominated.

The voting committee is made up of off-road industry experts. Generally about 18 -25 people. Of that number, only 3 members of the ORMHOF Board of Directors are allowed on the committee. We structured it that way to maintain a level of honesty and integrity that would not allow it to become an "Old Boys Network" .

If you think Curt merits nomination, then download the forms and do it. Don't wait for someone else to do the work.

I vote for Dick Dahn. He started racing in the Santa Ana river bed and is still racing. and building tracks.
