Good Top list, but I think Ryan Arciero and Bob Shepard should have a bit better odds. Look for them to do well. Remember, Bob won from almost the last Trophy Truck starting position last year. He has also won it in a Pro Truck. They should run Fast.
Brian Collins also knows the course, and more importantly knows how to run fast at Primm. Primm always comes down to prep and patience. We all know there are a lot of guys that can run fast, but not that many that can run fast an entire race, and keep it together.
No doubt Rob and B.J. will battle. Again, patience and prep we prevail.
Should be agood race.

I agree, and I think that statistically, its time for the pendulum to swing the other way. Its also time for Bob & Ryan's gremlins to be behind them. They are waaaaay over due for a win.

Mr. pink reference had me rolling, Tony T your picks seem to get better and better
so true about the CODE class, although the boys have yet to show up and I don't think that very many of these guys have tangled w/rulo in a long time. And your 16 class predictions are hard to beat, at least you tell it like it is--My question is at a race like primm does one need a "hired gun"? It is relatively short and easy to remember, Does change the odd's though. It is early to think this but makes for an interesting chase for the chamnionship going into the thou.

He's not "hired"...
They've been talking for quite sometime about splitting the driver's seat. This just happens to be the first race where its been a possibility.
Like years past, every class will be down to 3-4 real contenders (or less) by lap 3....

I didnt mean literally "hired"- just if I'm capable to race a shorter race I would try and do it myself(the whole Ivan thing)-I would only want team up for a longer race like the 500 or the 1000,But I can understand given the opportunity to share seat time with a legend I couldnt pass it up either (Remember the time when I raced with"INSERT LEGEND NAME HERE" and we won!! Those were the days.) And I totaly agree with you on the 3-4 real contenders by lap three.

At 6 to 4, I would look out for Pat Dean. I spoke to him the other day and he wasn't too happy about having to work during Vegas to Reno. Look for him to bring it with avengence at Primm. If he gets in the zone, its overall time.

I hear what you're saying completely. It's always been my opinion that a driver's change at this race can easily kill your chances at a class win. I know of a couple of instances where driver's didn't switch at the fuel stops because it was so close and ended up changing driver's in the pits just before they'd cross the finish line for "Driver of Record" points.
It sure will be entertaining to see who hangs in for this one...

No way! You guys have it all wrong. Niether Mike or Steven are driving.
My cousin Derek is goin to drive the first 2 laps then he'll meet me at my photo location for a driver change. Then I'll drive the car in reverse to the finish just to make a point.
This is ridiculous.. Lol.
