Anyone out there have any or know someone whos has any 35" yokohama supper digger tires. They are similar to the 33" Supper Digger tires with a round profile. Ivan Stewart ran them in early TT days. I'm very interested in purchasing them at any condition.

Aren't you a Yokohama sponsored driver? Shouldn't u be able to get them very easily? Shoot if not you are good friends with PAB so that should be enough LOL.

I always liked that tire. I know of an old race truck that has them on it, last saw it a year ago. I'll try to locate the owner.

Yeh I remember those tyres. We used to call the Yokohama Donuts. They were light and had kiler traction. They stopped making them, i dont know why because everyone over here was using them. A guy over here bought a container full of them before they stopped making them but i guess he ran out because he is now running BFG bajas.

I was told the same thing. I guess when Yokohama pulled out in the 90's the factory in Japan did not know what to do with the mold. So they put it in storage. I guess the reps here in the states were asking to have the molds or have them store them for the future. Well I guess the Japan factory then felt they would not continue that tire in the future, as I guess it was not as popular as the 33" tire and they ended up cleaning house and that mold was thrown out. Being that off-road racing is popular here and they dont really understand it over there they did not see the need to keep the mold, and I guess at one point the 33" molds was in jeopardy too, but I guess sales were still good enough to keep producing small qty's.

I can't wait for this tire to be available. They will be replacing my MT Baja's. What size wheel are you thinking of using. Will they be DOT approved? On another note, I have one 33" super digger with a DOT stamp on it. It looks just like every other digger, except for the stamp. To bad I only have one, and that it has a huge hole in it. I don't know what I am saving it for.

We are sponsored by Yokohama Tyres Australia and we will be speaking to our guy about this just hoping that Yokohama decide to remake these, we would run them for sure.
