the 700 weighs 500 pounds... big boy.. i think they could have done better by just re-designing the TRX 450... also no rizzeis in front whats that!?!? i would like to ride a Raptor 700 and the TRX back to back see whats best.

I am very dissappointed by the UTV. I was expecting a more performance minded creation, but that thing belongs on the farm. I have ridden red my whole life. A few years ago I worked for a big rhino company and I couldn't wait for the top secret Honda UTV. Honda never hyped this thing and now I see why.

I think they could have done more with the 700 as well. Is Honda settling for competing with the other manufacturers as opposed to blowing them out of the water?

I think that is is ok, but the rear suspension I dont like. It seams like that would add a bunch of weight. Go back to a swing arm and one coilover. But what I think would be the best thing is to get one of the new TRX 450R and put the motor from a 1987 TRX 250R into it. But thats just what I want to do. Im a two stroke guy.

Will wait and see how the 700 rides. Im with ya on the 2 strokes. The 250r frame and setup is better than th 450r in my opinion. If we could get our 450r to handle like our 250 that would be awesome.

Honda is still working on the "trick" UTV. Give them a little more time and im sure we will all be happy with the outcome.

It seems like alot of ATVs are comming out with an independant rear suspension these days. Polaris, Can Am, Honda. Are there any more that I didnt mention?

I agree, also think about the cost of upgrading. A quality rear end is expensive as it is, but now it will be just as high as front, PLUS the cost of axles, CV's, whatever else........

So Honda is FOLLOWING the Yamaha Raptor down the oversized, over tall, over weight, big displacement small performance quad marketing plan ?

And then to top it off they refuse to develop anything interesting for the Sport UTV market ! Sure am glad I bought a KTM and gave up on them after 30 years !
