That race was by far one of the funnets Big 6 races last year. There was a ton of quads at that race. But beware the water hole, or should I say the water endless hole. I hit that thing and sunk.

We are making many many changes to the course... You guys are in for a treat ... We are well aware of the air boxes on the quads.. when they suck H20 = NO BUENO combination.. We are making improvements to bring you an even better event from years past, keeping everybody in mind!!~
Hope to see you guys there! Pre entries are open!~

I'll be there, I was hoping for some course secrets....

Maybe racing the course backwards??? That would be new and exciting....
Those pre entered will be staged EARLY with first choice on the start line which could come into play with our new start line hard LEFT TURN. Unclassified doesn't count as this is BOTW (Best of the West).
Yep, Different course lost some land gained some land. According to our pre race scouts the start and finish will be in the same place not in the arena. Expect a well groomed slightly over watered course sans the 2nd impromtu water hole. 7 water trucks 24/7 starting Wednesday before the race. That's enough for now get those entries in !!!!!.

Round 5 of the Big 6 Grand Prix Series is this weekend! Our course is shaping up to be the best yet since we moved to Ridgecrest! Friday morning, we will once again be visiting local schools as part of the Elmer Symons Memorial Champions of Life Program where we have top off roaders ride onto school grounds and give demonstrations and talk about rider safety, staying in school, anti-drug messages, etc. Elmer came out every year and contributed to our school program and was one of the first riders to ride into Burroughs High School during a pep rally, sign autographs all through the lunch hour and then give a rider demonstration out on the FOOTBALL FIELD! The school actually allowed him and others to ride wheelies, flat track, etc. around the immaculately groomed stadium's track!
This is an exciting race and since there is no conflict with WORCS this year, we are drawing a lot of top off-roaders from that series along with guys who race the outdoor nationals and SX! Hope to see YOUR name on the results too!
You're in for a treat this year! We are doing some new things with the course and hope you all enjoy it as always. 5.9 - Feel free to come out the weekend before the race and just look around. That is our work weekend and you should be able to get some idea what we are going to throw at you! No pre running during the week .. We have some locals stationed out there taking descriptions! We offer a special resident only race on Sunday a.m. Unclassified. Nick Burson currently owns the bragging rights - but it's time someone unseated him!
We have various fun sections that will have you coming back for more: Radar Road straightaway with CHP "Your Speed Is..." sign - Be sure to check it and see how fast you're running for bragging rights later on. We also have Past Presidents 40 Acres, the Dawg Pound, Junkyard (complete with Cadillac Ranch style graveyard!), Officer Keys Korner, LaCharite Acres, Cattle Call, Arena Section with some slightly moistened dirt and other fun stuff, MX, etc.! If you have any questions at all, feel free to call the numbers on the flyer or drop me an e-mail - hope to see you out there. AMA Membership & D37 Membership required
No Green Stickers/No Sparkies Required
Sound Testing will be in effect!
Viewfinders MC also offers a free Unclassified race to race entrants with a VALID Military ID (must show proof). We support our local troops!
