Garit Wallace got a pair of fourth place finishes. He now has 4 straight finishes of 4th place. He is very consistent. Garit drove a clean race and missed the carnage all around him. The Sacio and Garit maneuver in Sunday's race was awesome (photos at Garitwallace.com (http://www.garitwallace.com)). There are a ton of photos of this weekends race from AV on Garits website.

Here are a few photos of Rodrigo Ampudia from Saturday at AV. Garit Wallace #51 barely missed Ampudia as he was rolling. That had to be the scariest moment of the weekend. I can't believe Ampudia made it out for Sunday's race, his crew is incredible.

Here is the crash between Garit Wallace and Sacio from AV round 8, Sundays race. I was wondering what people thought about the crash.

It was crazy to see a prolite fly over the k-rail.
P.S. Garit's door held on for almost four laps after the crash.

That was a classic blockpass by Sacio...he didn't plow Garit by any means and he got the worst of it. As a general rule, I say SIDE BY SIDE contact is ok but when someone gets punted from behind that is taking it too far. That track looks tiny in that video!

I agree.....in our local UTV races there is a big argument going on regarding that very thing.....side by side contact going through corners, etc......that's just fine - close racing - It's gonna happen.....but the ramming from behind, that's not cool. I was in the lead my last race, and had a rhino behind me, accelerating into me in the corners while I was turning - using me instead of his brakes, and trying to plow me over or spin me out by ramming the back end of me (repeatedly. To me, that's not racing - that's just trying to take someone out.

Corry, in your case I would say things are a little different due to the utv's open wheels...that type of driving just tears up cars and gets people hurt and and I would expect it to be policed.
