I had heard they were doing away with the jump "Fig Mountain"...as a spotter we lost sight of the trucks at the top..and it was unsafe with no landing room at the bottom.

Yea I listen to the interview with RJ and he mentioned that after the last race.....so I was wonder if it was still going to be there.

It still looks the same to me...I'll take a drive down there maybe tomorrow and take a look. But the last time I was there (like a week ago), it was the same.

Does anyone know about the parking this time. Is it the same as last time where you have to take a bus in, or did they add any new parking closer? Is the race format going to be the same as AV as far as the starting times? Corr doesn't have a schedule up yet.

Yes they have a schedule up. And it is different than av. It is like all of the other races this year.

Check which CV you clicked on. The Sept date doesn't have a schedule.

I saw the schedule - it's up in the PIT area of the website.....
Here it is....

I am hoping they will expand the pit area into where they had the spectator parking last time....they should expand the pits out as far as they can that way, and park everyone on the hill and in the overflow parking areas......that way the pits aren't such a cluster and people will have room to move a bit......
Knowing the parking is going to be a mess, we have to leave on Thursday morning to be sure we get a pit spot without a huge wait.....it would be awesome to know things will be organized, and only have to leave Friday early enough to get there in time for practice......
Regardless, I'm looking forward to this weekend A LOT!!! :)

The jump will still be there.

Hopefully reducing the amount of Trophy Karts will help free up some pit space..

I'm going to CV to see my first CORR this weekend. I've been to several races in the dez but never seen CORR. Should be a blast.

UTV and Trophy kart pit are up top above the hill the media is located on.
Aprox 50 UTV's on the list, and I'm sure the standard 75 Trophy karts.

on top of that the pits once again are a cluster...no gate separating camping traffic and pits meaning there will be thievery worse then AV was 2 weeks ago.
