Are Handle Cutting brakes common in Desert racing? I have seen them for sand cars, but I dont recall seen them on racing desert cars.....
Are they useful for racing on trails?

I run one in my 1600. Only use it on courses were there are infields with sharp or muddy turns. There are a couple of places in mex that I have used them. With wider cars you can lock one side to help make sharp turns.
