Heard a quick mention of it last night on one of the racing wrap-up shows. Anyone got any details?

CORR has a press release on their home page about Paul Tracy racing in the #71 Baldwin Racing F150 Pro 2 in Chula Vista this weekend.

Sweeeet. I've gone riding with Paul a few times...he's just an all-around competitive guy. Should be a good show.

Paul Tracy will be running the #71 this weekend. This obviously is his first time behind the wheel of a CORR Pro 2 but he is extrememly pumped up about giving it a shot and with his enthusiasm and racing talent this should be a lot of fun.

Awesome! Good to see the "Thrill From Richmond Hill" playing in something different. I met him a few times at the Toronto Indy...the folks up here love their hometown boy!

I'm contemplating driving down to Chula Vista to see PT. The problem is, I don't know where Chula Vista International Raceway is! Neither does MapQuest or Google Maps! They give me an approximate location (the street where an amphitheatre is located). I was looking at aerial photos on Google maps and there's some pieces of land that looks like it could be an off-road raceway but I'm not really sure.

Can anyone pinpoint the track for me? Also, where should I park? Any other tips would be appreciated. This would be my first off-road event in a while (my dad took me to a Mickey Thompson stadium event when I was a little kid).

If you are heading south get to the 805s then get off at main st. go left and a mile or so down the road on the left side there will be a bunch of banners one of which will probably say corr. pretty easy to find.

just mapquest or google map either Knott's Soak City or Coors Amphitheatre and Chula Vista Int'l Raceway is right across the street.... right where the road curves you'll see the sign.

Where's the best place to take photos if I have a general admission ticket? I would like to get some shots of the trucks/buggies getting some air.

Also, how loud are the trucks/buggies? Will I need earplugs?

I want to thank everyone who's given tips. I really appreciate it.

Should be cool, now he can run onto people... oh wait, he already does that in Champ Car. Watch out Josh Baldwin, he likes taking out his teammates. HAHA

Don't worry about mapquest directions, when you get on Main st. you'll see the long cars line to go there...

Paul Tracy was always my favorite driver growing up (love his work). It is going to be great watching him this weekend. This guy has a ton of natural talent, if he can keep together without crashing, he can probably do pretty good considering he has never driven anything like this.

Paul is getting support from a number of off roads big time players, Bully Dog Technologies, Light Force, KMC Wheels and Monster Energy Drink. while he is not expected to take the win he is sure to put on a good show.
