I just went to the Corr web site to get our tickets and I’m a little frustrated.

This is a list of questions I have about the races on the 19th and 20th for Texas
$25 or $40 per adult for both days? Or $50 or $80 per adult both days.
Contingency Row passes with admission? Or no Contingency? (both days?)
Contingency Row is open at what time to the public? (both days?)
Race start time? (both days?)

If anyone has info I’d love to hear it, I e-mailed Corr but I guess their a little busy getting things ready for Dallas. :D

A weekend pass is $50 or $80. At all of the races so far this season the pits have been open to the spectators. They dont have the schedule out yet but they have been talking about it being a night race.

Yeah, first, they are a little busy...getting ready for Chula Vista at the end of this week let alone Dallas. Second, there is no "contingency row," vendors register with CORR, they handle contingency with the drivers and that is it. If vendors wish to display in the pits, they can sign up with CORR so quit worrying...and the seat prices are probably $25 gen adm and $40 preferred per day and like jonathanb said, admission gets you access to the pits.

Thanks very much! $160 for 2 adults...I sure do miss desert racing. "FREE" admission is so easy on the wallet.

Thanks again and I hope to see Ya'll at the races.

I don't know what "preferred" means with CORR, but when we raced there earlier this month all the seats in the grandstands looked to be good seats, not enough to justify an extra $60 in my mind. It's just grandstand seating if I remember right, and it only seats around 11,000 people, so as long as you're in the grandstand you're really not that far from the action. Take a look at the venues on the tracks website, it may or may not be worth it to you.

Preferred seats are the seats to get at CV, Pomona, and Vegas. Lancaster doesnt get enough people to worry about not having a place to sit. I recommend anybody attending the venues that will sell out to get preferred seating so you dont have to fight over getting a seat, its not the view thats better, its the fact you can show up 5 minutes before the pro4 race begins with a group of 5 or 10 and all be able to sit together.

CORR texas is a friday night/saturday night race I believe...cant wait. Just the road trip is going to be a good time!

Tim, from my experience there really hasn't been a bad seat at the CORR events this year, so I personally would just buy the lower price tix. Plus you'll probably be spending time checking out the pits, meeting drivers, teams and just checking everything out. It should be a really great time and we look forward to seeing you out there.

I agree - no bad seats so far that I've seen......it's not like at SX when you pay $10 and you need a pair of binoculars! ;)

And if you get there and its a cluster getting a seat in the lower rows...you can always go back and pay the extra and upgrade.

Bill your right...It was Mirage! It's a small world, my dad owned the house to the right of Mirage. He retired from LASD- AV station and moved to Utah a couple years ago and its been about 5 years since I've moved to the Dallas area. As for the Dirt, I'm good ..If your coming to the races here, a hand shake does me even better. Will you be racing Bill? If so I'd love to come by and say howdy. You cant miss me I'll be wearin a black DP4 shirt and have a lovley brunette with tigo bittes by my side. lol:D
