Ok here is the question. What is a better shift kit for an AOD in a Bronco. I got a killer deal on an AOD for my Bronco and it is stock. I am going to rebuild it, change to kevlar bands, a deep pan, HP clutch packs and add a shift kit. On my other trans I had a shift kit, stage 2 and I loved it but I don't know who made that one and it was along time ago.
I am torn between the transgo kit and the B&M kit. I am favoring the B&M kit.
What do you think?

I have the B&M, and I am really happy with it...
BUT, the TransGo TransPak is probably a better bet..

I've had a few Transgo kits and one B&M... The transgos seem to be more "agressive"... which I like. The one in my 700r4 syclone will snap your neck at full throttle. Acts like normal under normal power. I vote transgo.

art carr, they make a ton of parts for those trannys and it wouldn't hurt to get the lower first-second gears for it.

Anyone run the full manual valve body on an AOD?

I ended up getting the transgo AOD-HP shift kit. It came with the Hi-rev governor Kit. What are the pro's and con's of this hi-rev. Keep in mind my bronco is 98% off road use maybe 2% on pavement.
