Can anyone point me in the right direction of a tire distributor who can supply the following at a very good price?

BF Goodrich Baja T/A 33 x 10.5R x 15
BF Goodrich Baja T/A KR 35 x 12.5R x 15

All help will be much appreciated!

Well that didn't work - contacted BFG's number 877 788 8899 and got some bloke on the end of the line with a foreign language who I couldn't understand. I very much doubt if it was BFG's offices, unless they have Vietnamese / Chinese call centres!

The BFG website lists a free phone number - obviously something that does not connect if you're calling from abroad. They then give you the option of calling someone near you - great - but it only works if you're in the States. They then state that I should call the country nearest to me - which I did and they don't import the tires that I want. Plus the fact that the prices are exhorbitant due to the $ to Euro exchange rate.

The UAE Dirham is tied to the $ so it makes sense for me to buy in the US, but if the website is so US-centric, how can I place an order?!

Please, someone, just give me a contact name and number or an e-mail address?

Well, it seems that JD Motorsports isn't intested in my business. I haven't had a response at all. What is it with companies who advertise and then couldn't be ar$ed to follow up with potential customers?

If you need tires in the 33x10.5 bajas with the more mud terrain go on www.jeepspeed.com thats the size tire that most of us are running. Talk to the owner Clive Skilton on there, screen name jeepspeed, and see if you can help you out.

Well that was a dead end - Debra from JD said that I should contact our local distributor in Dubai who she was sure would help me in my search for the ever elusive Baja tires.

Nothing doing, they have a sole agency (read a captive market) and basically it means that if they have to do some work, we hit the proverbial brick wall. Never mind, where there's a will, there's a way and I have a contingency plan in the offing!

The BFG race program is for the US only (which I suspected).

In the meantime, thanks to all for your input.

Is there a reason you can't buy them from a normal tire retailer in the US and ship them? I can go to a dozen retailers and simply order them without involving BFG racing. Unless you are looking for free tires it shouldn't be too difficult.

He is looking to but tires through a racers program. The tire manufactures set up a racers program since we are buying more than normal more often.

Free tires are nice just not reality, for most.

Free tires would be fantastic but I live in the real world and actually expected to pay for them! I was advised to contact BFG / JD which I tried with no luck. Once again, thanks for the input - I now have a couple of sources!

Desert Dog, Try contacting Mike Julson at Jimco race cars. He is has built and sent many cars overseas. So he knows all about getting cars and supplies to other countries. And a matter of fact I know in the past teams in Austraila have bought their parts though Jimco and had them sent to them. Schlesser's car is actually a Jimco under Schlesser's custom body. If anyone will know who you need to speek to or how to get you BFG's to Dubai Mike will. Good Luck!
