i was at rm 20 and the last lap was Vildosola, Canchola, then car 1249, then Herrera class 1. In 7 open Gova was leading with Almaraz 15 sec behind, here are some pics

I was out there pitting for the 708 racing 905 truck and it was crusing on the second lap when the driver side upper arm decided to let go and end our day, But all is good as it was a good day of racing with awsome weather.

Just got home. Think we got 3rd in class 1 and 6th overall. Had a couple flats and a minor stuckage problem lol. Good times though CODE races are always fun!

Just found out that Beny Canela`s entry lost the transmission :mad: and were out there for quite a while trying to get the truck out. They are crossing the border now...

hey did the fiberwerxs truck finished, we helped them at the Vildosola Main Pit, after some welding he continued, but i didnt see it if they finished.

expect a small video soon and we are on the plans of make a full DVD of this race.

Heartbreak for SMD's Roberto Romo. Leading Class 9 and breaks an axle 150' from the finish line. Pushes car across still maintaining the lead only to be told by officials that he can't push it across. Ends up welding the axle and finishes fourth.

yes David we also helped them at the pit with welder and tools, even Dave Clark was turning wrenches with Roberto and Juan Armando.

but one thing are clear in my mind, the real winners of the class 9 challenge was Roberto Romo and Juan Mayoral, they dominate the entire race sweeping the field more that 15 minutes of cushion.

rules are rules but real racers, wins at the track!!

He said he was going to change his pre race rituals to not include quite as much self indulgence :D . Apparently it's not as fun when your still suffering from the night before! Trust me...he still hasn't heard the end of it, and he won't until he gets MY driving suit from the dry cleaners!!
