not cool and not funny!

When you are that stupid I would be more pissed at the visual obstruction from a bloody spray of body parts coming into the cockpit, then the fact that i had just ran somebody over

not only is it completely stoopid but dangerous and nothing but a distraction to the driver who is piloting a race car on a race track not a club or dance studio.

guys calm down..

the red shirt guy wasnt drunk, he saw the car coming, and everybody we saw the car coming...we only having a little fun

i didnt knew off road races was something estrict or something where u dont have to do anything fun...

we know its not a dance studio, but were only having fun at off road races...

and its like all the guys in ojos negros or the zoo road in san felipe, its dangerous, but they not miss a baja...

its dangerous we know that, but we saw the car, we knew where he its going to pass....

so dont be so angry about this, if you have fun being sit at 20 feet from the track its ok, we have fun dancing closer to the track

thats all

calm down guys!!!!

I'm not mad......I was just making a comment about people standing too close to the race track and wonder why they end up getting hit.....Have fun and enjoy the races and watch out for the race cars, they too can get a bad line and end up losing control and running someone over.....

Even worst, he saw the car coming his way and still turned towards the vehicle, I think one purpose of any race is to have lots of fun , but just stop and think for a minute how distracting is for the vehicle occupants blasting your way to see someone dancing and acting stupid towards the race track , I as a vehicle occupant wouldn't know if he is not drunk or in drugs or just plain stupid and keep walking toward the vehicle , ending the race day and getting me or any other driver to jail and probably an experience that would finish a driving career.

Although, it was'nt the smartess thing to do. I don't believe it was all that bad seeing how it was only a 16 car. A 16 car driver should be able to react faster then the car their racing unlike some of the faster classes like 1's or TT were half the time the drivers are merely pointing the car in the general direction they want to go. That dancing fool would have been Hamburger if it was a TT for sure.

Im not mad either.

But I was not the one driving the car in the video.

Plain and simple, fun for your crew or not he had no business being that close to the driving line.

If and when there is an accident and a spectator is killed or injured, who is at fault? (the idiot on the course)

Who has to deal with the aftermath, settle any lawsuits, and possibly face jail time let alone live with the fact you killed somebody?
(the driver piloting a race car on a race course during a race)

Does'nt seem to add up does it!

I'm think its funny. in fact I'm gonna practice that move for the 1000. he takes his own life in his hands being that close to the course. racers in Mexico should be used to seeing s**t like this. I would imagine baja racers become conditioned to poeple on or near the course after about 5 minutes. IMO the possibility of hitting a spectator is one of the many risks you take off road racing in mexico. if an incident like this truly upsets some drivers due to their inherent liability, maybe those drivers should rethink where they choose to race. my $.02
