Who made it out to CORR this weekend and whet did you think?

We were out there all weekend and saw some awsome racing!

Does anyone have video of the photographer that almost got run over on the inside
k-rail in the last pro-4 race? Wow, Lucky guy.

Anyways, We had a great time. Give us your take on the CORR race weekend!

If your talking about the the guys standing at the top of turn 5, no one was hit. There were 2 very close calls though.

I saw that guy get TAGGED by the trophy kart - you could see on his pant leg where that bumper took him down, too - right in the side of the knee. You could tell he was in pain, but didn't want to make it look bag since everyone was looking........

Cenni was amazing - that's the worst wreck I think I have seen - he just hit SO hard on his roof....let me tell you, his crew can build my roll cage anytime. I fully expectd to see that cage about 5 inches shorter.....it held up real well. That super buggy that went off Fig Mountain was crazy, too! For the amount of carnage and wrecks that took place out there - I'm so glad no one was hurt....and it was just amazing . Made the 6 hour drive to go out there and come back TOTALLY worth it!!!

It doesn't get any better than CORR, that's for sure.
That hill Cenni and Anderson ( I think it was Anderson in the buggy) wrecked off of scares the bajeezus out of me, just watching! It looks like all it would take is one good gust of wind and it would send a lot of them tumbling.
We're already scraping pennies to see if we can make it to Dallas. We don't want to miss a thing!

OK. I must have missed that one. Jeez. My buddy was shooting from the top of turn 5 and jumped out of the way just in time. He suggested I try some shots from there for next race. I told him I preferred the safety of the k rail. Then I saw another close call there.

I'm not sure I'd want to be ANYWHERE on the infield - lol!! I take pics from alot of track infields, but that's one I am happy to stay out of! Pretty safe in the stands, thanks! ;)

The skybox was good for me! I don't need any part of being on the track unless it's in a truck!

Not only do you have to worry about shooting through a camera lens, watch all the action, keep an eye open for trucks coming at you, but you get ALL the dust and rocks flying at your head. It's dangerous out there and thats why we all sign a waiver before getting on the track. Be safe out there!

I was near the track entrance where the trucks/buggies enter the track. This being my first time I got hit big time by mud shrapnel while standing at the fence trying to get photos. I don't know what hurt more, my ears from the noise, or my arms and face from the mud shrapnel. Good thing I covered up my camera lens, though I should've covered my face first!

Last weekend was my first CORR race and I gotta say I was impressed by the whole deal- The best of Nascar without the worst of it and all in the dirt- You gotta love sitting in the sand getting pelted with dirt... Absolutely awesome- I'll be back!

More than I ever wanted to experience! The perfect cure for that, sleep with your IPOD running! Drowns out the noise!!!

I was out there, and on the track...mainly for the UTV's. But since I had a pass, I hung out for the trucks and cars too....it was insane out there. I found a nice corner to hang out in. Plenty of K-rail and boulders to hide behind. No dust, no Rocks...and one of the best seats in the house....

Paul Tracy and CORR are mentioned in the October 4, 2007 issue of AUTOSPORT magazine. Look on page 19. Unfortunately it's just a blurb saying how Paul Tracy made his off-road debut.
