I just finished re-adjusting and fine tuning the rear suspension of my truck and also the bed cage, fuel cell, etc. Now my truck is sitting too aggressively in the front. I was thinking about cranking down the coilovers I have in the front about an inch or two, but I am worried about messing up the valving and ride the truck already has. Am I being paranoid, or if I lower the front end to a more reasonable height will I be able to get away without compromising the ride and valving I have now?

You may need more compression valving to be able to take the same bumps at the same speed as before. If you have by-passes that's easy. If you only have coilovers, it'll be a little harder.

I'm only running a 14" dual rate coilover up front. Do you think dropping it down an over inch or two will affect the valving too much?

It won't affect the valving, just the ability of your current valving to control the hits. Just try it. You can always put it back if it affected the ride too much. You could also adjust the secondary collar (down) to step up the dual rate progression. If it still bottoms too hard, then you'll have to increase the compression valving.

2" is a lot of preload increase...better check your spring travel lenghts so you dont bind up your coils.
