I was at Chula Vista and talked to a few people about next years schedule. I heard Charlotte mentioned as one of the new venues. Does anyone know the entire schedule? I see nothing as far as a press release on the CORR site.

Check out Dirtnewz.com... http://www.dirtnewz.com/events-07/corr-5/sat.shtml

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and there is an article there. They announced it at the drivers meeting on Saturday, and to the public on Sunday. they only gave dates and the new venues... They said the opening weekend would be at the Improved Chula Vista, but that was the only location to go with a date.

I heard South Carolina........which....while it's cool and all, it's really going to suck to drive all the way out there if we are in the points race.......

They said Charlotte as one of them. Which is in North Carolina. And there is going to be 3 weeks between every race exept for one which is a 2 week brake,

Wow, SC is only a few hours from where we are in FL, to bad our truck doesn't meet any CORR class rules. If they plan to make the east coast and Texas a regular stop then we may have to look into a truck.

Three races at Chula. Three races in LA area, including Fontana (with a 10 year contract). Dallas, Charlotte and Primm.

Lowe's motorspeedway, Texas motorspeedway, possibility of the LA tracks being Irwindale or Pomona...I hadn't heard Fontana though. Of course Chula Vista as there are plans to put lights in and RV hookups in the pits. NBC extended the contract. 9 races in the series next year. Dates have been announced, but the tracks that go with those dates have not yet been announced. CORR says there should be something out in the next couple of weeks, probably after Texas.

Wonder why not Antelope Valley? Too far from the big crowds maybe? I like that facility.....

Should be a fun season!

It is my understanding the people of CORR didn't like AV. I am not sure why but I was told there wouldn't be any more racing up there.

Maybe it's just too high maintenance being that close to the freeway........

I noticed that the stands were never really packed in like they have been at the other sites...otherwise it was a cool venue with plenty of room for the track and pits.

I heard someone mention that if they didnt sell the second one out that they werent going to have a race there the next season.

I thought Sissy said (in the drivers meeting) that we had a 10 year contract for Fontana. Was it Irwindale? I may me suffering from adrenaline overload from such a great weekend racing.
