I’m sure this post will spark some pros and cons about your favorite builder and by no means should this be an opportunity to slam anyone out there providing a good service……BUT in general who do you recommend for a race built TH350 or TH400 transmission?

ill be using culhane as well i believe. BITD 7200 truck team I help uses him and no tranny problems in along time

Another vote for Culhane, knows his stuff and treats his customers right. We have been racing with his transmissions for nearly three years without a single failure or problem.

Culhane Trans- What is a ball park price you guys are paying for a race built TH-400 from him? I know there are a lot of variables, just a ball park price.?

Mogi built us a nice manual valve body th400 on the bench. Put it in the truck and it fried all but 2nd gear the first hour we drove it. Not sure why it happened, but he stood behind everything. We trailered the truck to him, he pulled the tranny , rebuilt it, and reinstalled it and it's been flawless for the last year and a half. Weird **** always seems to happen, but its nice when people back their work. I give my props to Mogi!

Cost $3500. Built to move the truck on the left behind 900 hp.

Just wanted to say thanks to Steve Culhane from Lake Elsinore for the awesome bullet proof T-400 transmission and the excellent customer service. This guy is by far the best builder I have ran across yet. Thanks again for making it happen!!!!

culhane has a race th400 transmission he offers to the general offroad arena, it is a bulletproof setup. the same quote to a few friends and myself was 3300.00

anyone know what Culhane charges for a 4L80 with a manual valve body.
