Bead-locks, how to stop the leaks?

Bead-locks, how do you stop the leaks?
You with experience must have some kind of trick.
In our old nine car we did the poor man's beadlock, yeah, tubes!
Can you use them with the lock and keep it from leaking?

Tou can definitely use tubes. Slime works good as well.

What kind of bead-locks are you running? The only ones that I've ever had leak were the cheap-o steel ones. Silicone is a good suggestion though.
