Okay my friend is selling a 99 kx250 to me for 250$

it sounds like a good deal but heres whats up..top end is blown and mite need new plastics. So do u think its a good deal? i was thinkin it was but i wanna know from the ppl that know more than me.


Also i have never riddin a 250 2-stroke, i hear they are crazy, this will be one of the first 2-strokes ive even riddin so what should i look out for in these things? i dont wana kill myself right away :D

sounds like you might hurt yourself right away. I say buy it, and part it out. E bay,etc.

We'll buy a clymer manual and fix the top end. not very hard. If you think you should worry about bad plastics take it to a mechanic to get looked over before you buy. And hope there are no bottom end problems, I'd buy it but I know what I'm doing on the bikes. Good luck!

Thats a good deal. If it has the proper paperwork i'd say go for it. 250's aren't hard to ride as long as you show em a bit of respect.

My friend who owns it has a 04 cr250 that imma ride over the weekend so thats gonna be a plus..but ill see wut happens

250 two strokes are fun to ride and easy to work on.
