Dilema here regarding info that's been regurgitated to me.

I currently have POS 6" arms (sand car parts basically) and POS combo spindles (unknown origin).

I WANT to go Foddrill 4" King Kong arms AND Foddrill King Kong double shear spindles.

(We plan on fabricating a new beam)

My BIG question has to do with HUBS. I don't want to replace my hubs. At one point I was told you can change out bearings on the HUBS to go from combo to King Kong? Guys at Kar Tek told me that's BS, that I would have to replace the hubs as well.

Any advice or info is GREATLY appreciated.

Pretty sure you can just change the bearings. Call one of the guys at the blue shop on Orangethorpe (Mc*******).

What is McKenzies a bad word or something? I spread the love to both shops and have no problems letting anyone know.

Thanks for the info, I'll give them a call right now.

From what I have been told now by several "somewhat trusted" sources is that with a little bit of machining and new seals/bearings I'll be good to go.

Gear One offered to do the entire upgrade for $240 - beats the $700 for new hubs I suppose.

Any other suggestions?
