Is 240 ft/lbs enough?

If you own cordless tools, get whichever brand you have. If you don't...the Milwaukee or the Dewalt are both good tools.

I race rally and we use the Craftsman unit...work great. Very fast with lugs and strong enough for pulley pulling, steering racks, sub frames, etc. On the service truck we have a compresor and use an air wrench in the service areas.

DeWalt is the only brand that matters IMHO, I don't have their cordless impact because I have on-board air and an air impact gun, but have used both the 36v and 18v models and they get the job done just fine. My 8+ year old DeWalt 18v drill has been through hell, and is so covered in paint, grease, dirt ect. that it isn't even yellow anymore, it's fallen off my roof a few times, once it bounced off the deck into the pool, I ran over it a while ago, basicly it's been fully abused, and still works like a champ. I loaned my 18v saws-all to the crew that was remodeling my house, and while they were demoing the old dining room they somehow droped a wall on it, I was a little bummed because I had just bought it the day before:rolleyes: of course I had the contractor buy me a new one, and let him keep the scratched one, which he's still using today

I have a 19.2V Ingersoll rand and it works really good. I use it to change tires on my four seater all the time. You can find them for about $200 on the internet with two batteries and a charger.

We have 2 Snap-ons. 1/2" & the big 3/8". Both are awesome.

Survey says....Snap-On! The gun, battery and spare battery also fit nicely in the dirt bag made for impacts or drills

I also have a snap-on, they are very reliable and have good power for removing or tightening.

I use and sell a gun from Longacre Racing that we've had great luck with, several teams we support use the gun.
Like all of our products, if you are not happy with the gun, we want it back. Also no shipping or tax to California.

i'm in the market for an electric rattle gun. the snap on guy almost got me to impulse buy a 1/2" gun last week but it's so heavy. they were also saying something about how the ni-cad battery has no memory...?
i would actually like to know how the new makita li-ion impact is(the larger of their 2 new 1/2 impacts). i love the compact cordless drill that i currently have. input would be great.
