Searchin' for vintage Western Auto Sand Blaster JR - 913- 915 tires

Hi there!I decide to open this new thread about Sand Blaster tires!
I'm a owner of a 1970 baja bug and I'd like to find any front Sandblaster JR tires and/or any 913 or 915 rear tires made by Western Auto in the 70's and 80's.I'm from Italy so maybe you'll prefer to sell to a resident buyer...
Anyway...I hope to find somebody who will be able to make my dream comes true!:)

those are sand tires unlimmited, wrong tire and manufacture. I remember when thos were brought out. The ones these people are looking for are western auto Sand blaster 9/15from the mid 70s to early 80s

I have a pair of wide tread and more narrow Sand Blaster tires from Western Auto. They have a great deal of tread left. They were on a buggy i just bought. Are you still interested?

I know exactly what your looking for, I had a hard time finding them in the '80's. Even if somebody had them, the rubber would be totally shot unless they were stored in a perfect environment.

Winston Tire had a line of tires, I think it was Fun'N'Mud (worst mud tire ever) that had the same tread pattern as the rear tires your looking for. Of course, that was mid to late 80's.

By now you've probably figured out that getting those tires is improbable. Good Luck!:)

I'm searching for just that brand of tire.Actually same pattern you can find in modern Mickey Thompson Mininmag and Baja pro!But thanks for the info!And I'll never give up...I'll be the owner of these Sand Blaster tires!!!

Anyway thanks to everybody here for your help...
Maybe next time it would be better to tell me about sand blaster ads through a PM....As one of you did!!!Actually no other people would be able to see this hint and I would be the ONLY ONE to ask and buy!!!:)
I'm really sad....for sure those 3 rear Sand Blaster 915 tires were the best for my vintage resto project....:(

Hi everybody!I hope this new year doesn't sound like the previous one...and so same story...no SAND BLASTER for me!!!:(
Some guys here on the race dezert told me about keeping sand blaster tires and wanted to sell them to me...But why you told me this...if you are not gonna sell them to me for sure?
You have just to wrap each tire with tape and send them to me through USPS...Actual postage is 63usd for each tires...
I got a pair of STU The smoothiee 4.50 and due to they are so narrow...the seller send them to me wrapped together for that actual 63usd...It's easy...just wrap and send...same thing you should do for domestic shipments...but in this case it will be overseas...
Anyway...I'll wait for a good soul who want to sell these beloved vintage sand blaster tires...;)

I finally got a pair of front Sand Blaster JR in very good condition for a very cheap price!:D
Finally I found a seller who didn't disappear like others...
Now I need a pair of 913 or 915 ones...

I'm actually looking for one Sandmaster JR. I have 2 right now but one is a 6" wide and the other is a 7" wide tire. I need another 7" tire. Also have another 915 Sandblaster but not willing to get rid of either if I can trade for what I need.....or buy for that matter. Got anything you can trade Sandscorcher?

Actually...front Jr's were available in two size.First production was 6.70 and later this size was replaced by 7.75.
Mine are both 7.75...
I'm searching for two rear 913's due to 915's are nice but too big for my baja bug vintage project...They fit better into a buggy like Funco or Chenowth...
And sorry... but I have nothing to trade...
Could you post a pic of your 915's?
Sand Blaster tires are always a pleasure to my eyes...!!!:cool:
What kind of rim do you intend to use with them?
