Yoda and I will be camping in Ocotillo Wells for the Christmas to New Years Holiday Week and you are invited.

This is a low key, relaxing time. Just fun riding, good friends, good food and beautiful sunsets. There won't be many people there until New Years Eve. We typically have the place to ourselves.

Come for a day, the weekend, the week... Sleep in the bed of your truck or bring a 50 foot RV... we don't care... Just bring the Holiday Spirit with you !

I was out there last year during the christmas-new years week, and the place was out of control. It was one huge dust pit, totally not worth it. I'm over the big w/e hype for places like glamis or ocotillo.

I've been there for years between xmas and new years and there is rarely anyone there. You must be camping in the wrong place and riding in the wrong place to have that experience. Maybe you should try going with people that know how to maximize the fun and minimize the clown factor.

That said... unless you are a participant in this event please save the negativity for another thread.
