hi sorry, im sure this has already been discussed but i cannot seem to find it.

im ready to start on the front end of my '99 ranger i was going for the 5.5 kit that camburg offers. problem is that i guess their coil springs are on back order and may have been for a while.

so then i was looking into the H and M perfromance kit. pretty equal looking to me. and i ve got the money burnin a hole in my pocket and im not much of a patient person.

i havent been able to get a hold of H and M, because of the 1000. or so says their answering machine so does anyone know the price difference?, i know that camburg is about $1750 out the door w/shipping to az.

also any other pros or cons to each kit?, compared to each other like i said the both look equal to me( i do like the boxed upper arm from H and M, but i know with that usually follows more money)but..... im up for any suggestions of what to do.

thanks again and once again sorry for not finding this doing a search

I cant speak as too which is better or cheaper but I would think that you can give camburg a call and ask about their springs being on back order. I know that they were running the 1000 so you probably wont get a hold of anyone until Monday at the shp. Jerry Zaiden (co-owner of camburg) is a regular on here so you can always drop him a PM. If the coils are on backorder then he may be able to point you to another brand that has them in stock. My brother and dad both run the camburg stuff on their rangers and are very happy with it, I dont know anyone that runs the H&M stuff, hope this helps

Call each shop up and ask them questions. Both are reputable, good companies / shops. See what they have to say and go from there.

ya ive talked to a couple guys at camburg before i posted. they didnt know. and i pm'd mr. zaiden before that, and he told me to call them at the shop. which like i just said no one knows when they will get them in, bummer. as for h and m. i called twice left a message no call back been about 3-4 days so idk.... just figured someone on here would have a ballpark estimate about the prices. and what their preference would be? im not gonna try to kiss buts you know, because im sure that both companies reps are on this sight. i would just like to get the best kit for my price range and performance level. i guess i sorta answered my own question in a way. being that i would have already purchased the camburg kit had they had the springs in stock. so i guess i will go with camburg cause the other company doesnt seem to want my money. thanks for the suggestions
