Yes... Major props to Honda 1X and even bigger to Ron, Tim, Jonah...etc on 14X. They did great.
... and we (17X), came in 5th :( ...losing to 5X (Joe, Aaron, Cameron...etc) by 2 minutes!!
And yes, now I'm beating my head wondering why I took so long at a pit, or started daydreaming at one point... .... 2 damn minutes!! AAarg!
Good race, great fun... congrats to all bikes that finished!!

Yes, congrats to the 1X team, you win this race by being prepared, no doubt that Honda is the best prepared team on 2 wheels in Baja. Others come & go but Honda is always there. Johnny, Robby, Kendall & Steve, who could ask for a better dream team.
Just wanted to say congrats also to the D38 riders who did really well, of course Robby Bell 1X, Ron Wilson 14X, Cameron Corfman & Aaron Tuck 5X, Johnny Jensen 17X, Jimmy Lopez 19X. And all the other D38 riders who competed, you make D38 proud!
Best Regards

Don't forget D38 quad riders as well. Wayne Matlock's team led most of the race and had to settle for 2nd. The race winner Danny Prather is a fringe D38 rider...the fourth place team had Josh and Greg Row, Travis Dillon and Alfonso Cota...and the 52A team had Ben Erwin. Not too bad showing in the quad class.
Congratulations to Danny Walsh, Steve Martz, and Airtime. You guys are a great group and I was hoping to see you guys a couple of spots higher. Same with the Corfman and Tuck team.

Hey Folks... my first post of our results were off.
5X had a speed penalty... not sure if that's why, but it put us in 4th by 7 minutes!
So.... Finishing order was;
1- 1x
2- 14x
3- 9x
4- 17x
5- 5x
Woo Hoo... that puts us 3rd for the season! Yes... we're excited!!
Thanks Jason and Kirk... appreciate the support!!

Nice post Jamie! Spending some time with Johnny - Robbie and the rest of the honda crew was fantastic. I felt very lucky to be trusted w/ their motorcycle.
Maybe next year you can ride with us? (morton is getting old)
Ron Wilson - - 1st loser, baja 1000
