I have a 1600 type buggy with 25 mm torsion bars. I have King 3" triple bypasses on it. I had to turn the rebound all the way in, and it was still bucking. I just revalved the shocks going from .015 to .020. I just tested it today, and it's better than it was, but it still bucks exiting the big woops, and I again went to the rebound all the way in. I think I need to go to about a 23 mm torsion bar, but there is a race in 2 weeks and I won't have time. Do you guys think if I put a small spare tire on the very back it would help? I'd probably have to screw both compression adjusters in some, but if I left the rebound all the way in it seems like it would be less likely to rebound up. I want to add more power to the car, but until I get it to stop bucking I don't need more power. What do you guys think?

Open the rebound back up and stage the compression valving to rid yourself of the bucking. I know it seems like more rebound damping will keep the rear end down but that's not it. It's lack of/improperly staged compression valving. Tight/ heavy rebound will cause packing which will exaserbate your problem.

Tony: You're right. I've talked to alot of people since I posted this, and I just need to go out and test it some more and tune the shocks better. The spare tire thing was probably a stupid idea of mine. Thanks for answering.
