Any input would be appreciated:

I'm not happy using the stock pedal in my new 7 open truck. I had to modify it to clear a tube in the cab. Result, the pedal is only pulling the throttle cable to 1/2 throttle. I'm sure I could muck around with it to correct the cable pull, but in reality, the stock pedal is pretty weak sauce.

So what are my options?

Fab?

Purchase?

Floor mount?

Firewall mount?

Cable?

Linkage?

Vendor?

Part#?

Website?

Thanks in advance. In short, I have never messed around with a gas pedal setup and will admit that I am lost on the best solution. Thanks in advance. ~josh

here is a pick of my old 1400 toyota... it had a small block ford in it... I got the pedal (CNC brand) from MCKENZIES, think it was around 30 or 40 bucks, also used their throttle cable... super heavy duty, with teflon liner and little hiems for the carb. side and the throttle side... never had any problems with it, i mounted it on a little tab, on a floor tube... hope this can help!!:D
