I have a 94 chevy silverado. about 4 or 5 years ago my dad and i got a 99 vortec 350 and pulled an engine swap on my truck. i have a lot of aftermarket parts installed. sometimes when i need to hurry to change lanes or gas it real quick there is a bogg in the engie if i hold the pedel where it is it clears in a sec and opens up hard like it should. i have changed everything. the only thing my dad and i think it might be is that the fuel pumps on a 99 might feed or have more pressure than those fuel pumps on a 94... any suggestions?...

TPS, Throttle position sensor, bad (worn) injectors will also cause this.

99 is ob2. 94 is obd 1. are you using a 99 ecu or a 94 ecu? could have something to do with your fuel pump i think they changed when it went to obd 2.

vortecs run i believe around 65psi of fuel pressure, and ive experienced them running like crap with just a 5-10 psi difference. i would look very closely at that.

i put a conversion for the throttle body. i didnt keep the multi port injection with the 99 vortec engine, the only thing that is 99 is from the heads down, it can stay obd1 as long as you dont put the multi port injecton on the intake.
