lego has a Technics line that's harder to build..they're cool, there's a couple buggies in there with four wheel steering and stuff.

my NEPHEW (did i detect a note of sarcasm there??) actually has a bunch of my old legos and some new ones of his own...only had 2 non-broken shocks, so i ordered up some more on ebay, and the buggy will have some kind of front suspension before too long. lookin' like a lego version of a beam, if all goes well. his first off road event was d-day, which he had a great time at...i figured i'd keep the ball rolling with the lego buggy...if i let him have it back ;)

I modified the life guard lego truck from about 10 years ago into a full on desert racer. I used the "cable" pieces as shock absorbers before lego offered such pieces. It was pretty trick! I got about 1"-2" of travel out of it! I still have it, just no way to post a picture of it! I wish I could as it is pretty cool!

See ya in the dirt!
