Chris Wilson is over there, he was trying to find an internet cafe so he could e-mail us on Tony Telliers "Cheeze" list. Haven't heard from him though.

That is awesome! RGM has a broadband sat.... hook up with them and make some magic... Also tell us how well RG's run is going over from the VW's camp prospective... That would be some neat insite.

Craig Perronne, the ex-DIRTsports editor in chief, is over there as well, in his new position with Advanstar Communications as the Off-Road.com Editor in Chief. He is also embedded with the Volkswagen Team, but I doubt he'll be allowed to post anything here..LOL...just the way those guys over there do it. Maybe not and he'll post up a story everyday...if not you know where to find it.

Hey guys,

It looks like I'll be headed home tomorrow. I am sorry that I didn't get a chance to run in the race, but I hope to return next year. Having been to Baja a number of times I can tell you this race is set up and run very differently than a SCORE event. They both have things that they can learn from each other though.

I'll tell you that the Europeans were very interested to see the Hummers show up.

There was nothing else there like the H3s, and we all wanted to see them run. I suspect that even the VW guys were disappointed not to see them race.

I was only there for 3 days, but I am definitely hooked. I hope the event will run again in 2009- and that I'll be there .
