RG testing the Hummer in Parker this past weekend...

Yup...the morning after Parker finished up, RG was back out in the desert doing some testing in the Shea Rd. area of Parker in the Dakar Hummer...He had a bunch of his crew (including NASCAR staff who are all flying into Daytona on Thursday) with him...He stopped in for a quick bite at Taco Bell, filled up on gas (that thing takes PUMP gas?!?!?!) and off he went...unfortunately I had a Vegas plane to catch back to NH but it certainly was a shock to see when we pulled in to fill up our tow vehicle that morning...only a couple of gas station pics but hey, I'm from NH...its not everyday I come across a full blown Dakar race vehicle!!!

Sweet video! I was at pit #3 at Parker so we could watch RM 27 & 91, there wasnt anyone else all day on it as much as Robby was. I dont even know where he finished but when he came around RM 27 he was the only driver that didnt let off around the corner and at mile 91 after the straight away with a hard hard right he pushed that TT deep into that corner. It was bitchin to watch!

I overheard Sr. Gordon talking on his cell in the blue water saturday night talking about taking the hummer out testing, if I knew it was gonna be that much fun, I would have stayed longer in that dustbowl town.
