I know I'm no Robby Gordon, but I definitly had fun working at the track in Aspen today with my new ride I bought over the weekend. It's an H3 Alpha with the 5.3 ltr v8 in it!

I am upstate today and there is hardly any snow at all. We had a couple of feet before Christmas, but just a few inches since then. I kind of like it, but the removal part sucks! That looks like a hoot. We are planning on going up to the Adirondacks in a couple of weeks for a few days of snowmobiling....can't wait.

Hey Lance, I thought about you on my way home. We actually stopped in Idaho Springs for a little food. I should have looked you up here before leaving! Next time..

Jason

Now that I think about it, I am going to be in Lakewood all next week in a class for the Fire Dept. We'll have to catch-up one night.

Idaho Springs has good food for being such a tiny town. My shop is in Littleton...I'm there most of the week. PM sent.

Jason -- welcome to TEAM ROD HALL. I had almost that much snow driving from Blanding, UT to Moab on Sunday --- drove past two road closing signs and 8-10" of snow in Monticello. State Patrol blocking road in Moab and giant line of truckers were not amused when I showed up in Moab, heading northbound up the closed road! What is your next race? Just drove by your black trailer today and thought of you guys.

Jason -- you told me you WERE ROBBY GORDON? What happened? Take your foot of the go pedal? ( I met RG at Laughlin and he came up to me and thanked me for the video -- he started laughing and said he really liked it)

OK, so every now and then I like to think I'm RG! I think we are looking at the Mint but I have to call LC Engineering tomorrow to see how the motor bits and pieces are going to come along in the next couple of weeks.

You need to put a plow on it

Good to see some snow on the western front of the Rockies. How much do you need to break the drought of the past decade?

Not sure, but we have been breaking snowfall records this year. We had the snowiest December since they have been keeping track! We may have done the same in January as well. The biggest thing this year is it's been a lot colder up here this year and none of the snow has had much of a chance to melt as well. I heard Grand Junction even got about 4"s the other day that stuck!

Yeah, I hear that all the time...especially where Wally World is. The area is exploding right now. Right north of Wal-Mart is a newly built 75,000 sq.ft. liquor store.

Well here are some other shots from today at the Fire Station. This will kind-of give you an idea of the amount of snow we have. All the snow banks, including where the plow truck is have been shaved down as well. Not a true perspective on how tall they would really be.

My top employee works out of her home, west of GJ in the ag area.. She says she has 18" of snow standing and it is unprecedented.

Everyone really knows what they are talking about (global warming) LOL. This is the most snow we have had in Snowmass since they have been keeping records, can you say epic? I think it's kinda like the weather person, most of the time they are wrong and 50% of the time the weather is the same as it was the day before, go figure.

Watch out! It's "climate change" now and any cyclic change in the weather is catalyst for the eco-taliban's plans to oppress our liberties, economy and society in general.

I wish we'd get a little snow in the Vegas valley this year. The kids love it and it's been a few years.

Thanks, those of us who live up in the high country get to drive the better part of 400 miles to Colorado Springs to get a good deal on a vehicle. So...... it had a few miles before the fun in the deeper snow! Not to mention, I was only going about 25 or 30 mph! It's easy to get sideways in the snow.

JasonHutter

Believe it or not, that may be doable! I have been sideways in an engine more than once! 500+ hp engine makes them very capable to step out......... Not on purpose of course!:)
